CFP – Irish Journal of Arts Management and Cultural Policy

The Editorial Board of the Irish Journal of Arts Management & Cultural Policy is seeking research papers for its 2019/2020 issue.

The Irish Journal of Arts Management and Cultural Policy is a peer reviewed, open access e-journal publishing original research as well as reflective pieces, student research and book and policy reviews on the arts and cultural sector on the island of Ireland. We seek outstanding Irish-based research papers by academics (both affiliated and independent)that focus on any of the following areas:

  • cultural policy
  • arts and cultural management
  • cultural tourism and the creative industries
  • heritage and museum studies
  • marketing
  • governance
  • creative producing and curating
  • audience development and participation
  • philanthropy/fundraising
  • cultural finance
  • administration
  • production
  • consumption
  • arts and education

We are particularly interested in receiving papers touching on cultural policy and/or arts management in the following academic fields

  • (Cultural) geography
  • (Cultural) sociology
  • Urban, rural and place-based studies
  • Public administration
  • (cultural) labour
  • Migration studies
  • Art form studies: media, performance, visual, and music

Prior to preparing your submission, please initially contact one of the Editorial Board members listed below to indicate your interest and discuss your proposed paper.
